<p><span style="font-family: Calibri;">It is with great sadness that the family of the late George Rose announces his passing Saturday, December 21<sup>st</sup>, 2013 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Home at the age of 86 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving wife of 65 years Pearl; children Corilee (Rod) Dwyer, Joy (John) Nichols, Jill&nbsp; (Gordon) Pike and Robert (Tracy) Rose; daughter-in-law Barbara Rose; grandchildren Dean and Douglas Dwyer, Ryan Nichols, Meghan Jourdrey, Sarah, Nathan and Heather Pike, Bailey and Adam Rose; great grandchildren Aaron, Hayden, Samuel and Carson Dwyer, Naya and Tayla Nichols and Nolan Jourdrey; brothers and sisters-in-law: Norval and Mabel Oxford, George and Joyce Rowsell, Millicent Burry, Marion Binder, Marie Oxford and Annie Rose; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his sons Norval and Dennis; infant grandson Jack Rose; parents Walter and Lily Rose; brothers and sisters Harold (Boydie) Rose, Jack Rose, Jennie (Eldwin) Kean, Winnie (Royce) Frail and Bertha (Ignatius) Hall, Father and Mother-in-law: Abram and Marion Oxford, brothers and sisters-in-law Edison and Masie Oxford, Leslie and Chuck Oxford, Basil and Masie Oxford, Roy and Katie Oxford, Royd and Irene Hann, Bill Binder and George Burry. Granting his wishes, cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. A private burial will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made the Alzheimer&rsquo;s Society or to Corner Brook Long Term Care.
