It is with great sadness that the family of Clarence Bruce Lidstone announce his sudden passing on Monday, February 2, 2004 in his 77th year. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife of 55 years Irene, children Bruce Lidstone (Ena), Marie Cunning (George); grandchildren: Bradly, Beckie, Jeffrey, Brent, Glenn, great granddaughter Faith Allison Sarah; brother Jim (Vera); sisters Audrey, Valda (Doug), Halifax, June (gerald), Stephenville; sisters-in-law Mary Lidstone, Laura Lidstone, and a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Alice, brothers Calvin adn Gilbert; nephews David, Jack McGinn. The funeral service will be held Thursday, February 5 at 2:00 pm from the Humber United Church, Clarence Street, Reverend patricia Melindy officiating. The interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue, Tuesday at and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Association of Newfoundland and Labrador, Corner Brook Chapter.
