<p>Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at his new house in Cox&rsquo;s Cove, Mr. Alexander Park at the age of 72 years. Leaving behind to cherish his memories wife Mona (nee Wells) of 52 years; sons: Barry (Judy), Donald (Dianne), Darren (Brenda), Rodney (Madonna) and Steve; daughters: Corinna (Robert) Brace and Shelley (Kent) Chaulk; grandchildren: Mark, Nicole, Gavin, Tara, Shiann, Cassaundra, Tamara, Shanna, Bethany, Stephen, Mackenzie, Andrew and Alexa; great-grandchildren: Nicholas, Takara, Noah and Bentley. Sister Loretta (Joseph) Park; brother Monty (Christine) Park; special friend and brother-in-law whom was like a brother Terry Wells; sisters and brothers-in-law: Betty James, James (Violet) Wells, Dougald (Doris) Wells, Jessie (Rodney) Stratton, Charles (Diana) Wells, Daisy (Roland) Park, Terry (Evelyn) Wells, Bryon (Ina) Wells and Joan Wells; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Wilson and Charlotte Park, parents-in-law Stephen and Dorothy Wells. Alex for many years was involved in many organizations in his local community and throughout the Province. He was also very involved with the local Pentecostal Church. He was a very successful business man. Friends may visit Emmanuel Pentecostal Church in Cox&rsquo;s Cove on Friday beginning 2:00 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 24 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastors William Sampson &amp; James Anthony officiating. Interment to follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy no flowers by request of the family, donations may be made to Emmanuel Pentecostal Church Memorial Fund or the Cemetery Fund.
