BENNETT Annie Mary Stephenville Crossing, NL 1920 - 2005 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Annie Bennett announce her sudden passing at the Hoyles Escasoni Complex, St. John's, on Wednesday, August 10th, 2005 at the age of 85 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, children: Olive Hubbard, Baltimore, U.S.A., Doris Carolyn Bennett (Colin Budgell), Deborah Ann Bennett, both of St. John's, Victor, Gordon (Margo), both of Toronto, ON, Charles (Rita), Fort St. John, BC, Brian “Skippy”, St. Catherines, ON; 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brothers: Augustus (Shirley) Pieroway, Corner Brook, Joseph (Marie) Pieroway, Stephenville Crossing; sister Cecelia Davis, Stephenville and by daughter-in-law Betty Lou Bennett, Toronto, ON. She is predeceased by husband John Bennett; loving companion Charles Fleet; sons: Walter, Gilbert, Gerald; parents: Florence Ann Campbell and George Pieroway; brothers: Walter, Charlie, Stan, Ron, Gilbert, Andrew, John, Raymond and Thomas; sisters: Annie Farnell, Mable Linthorne, Carrie Penney and Mae Layden. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, West Street, Stephenville Crossing on Firday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon. The mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, August 13th at 2:00 p.m. from the Roman Catholic Chruch of The Assumption, Stephenivlle Crossing with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery, Brook Street. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Assumption Parish Cemetery Committee.
