<p align="center">Frederick Gordon</p> <p align="center">Thistle</p> <p align="center">Gander, NL</p> <p align="center">(Formerly of Corner Brook)</p> <p align="center"> </p> <p>It is with great sadness that the family of the late Frederick Thistle announce his passing on Saturday, September 14<sup>th</sup>, 2013 at James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander at the age of 77 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is his wife of 53 years Sandra (nee Jenkins), children: Cathy Mosher (Brian) and Fred (Cecilia); grandchildren: David (Danika) Thistle, Michael Mosher, Alyson and Katie Thistle; sister Patricia Rorke; brothers and sisters-in-law: Ethel (Max) Andrews, Leone (Bern) Basha, Robert (Jean) Jenkins, Sid (Iris) Jenkins, Gerald (Lurley) Jenkins and Don (Dot) Churchill; uncle, Edgar (Dolly) Thistle; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Frederick and Catherine Thistle, sisters Diane Thistle and Cathy Churchill and brother-in-law Richard Rorke. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 18<sup>th</sup> at 2:00 p.m. from All Saints Anglican Church, Clarence Street with Reverend Tanya White officiating. The interment will follow at Townsite Cemetery, Montgomery Street. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
