She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her son Robert and wife Vera, her seven grandchildren Sharon Eagles, her husband Ian and children Jordan, Kirsten and Austin; Paul Wood, his wife Sue and children James and Sydney; Jennifer England and her husband Ronald and children Sarah and Emma; Mark Sexton and his wife Stephanie and children Rhys and Macy; Glen Sexton and his wife Tina and their son William; Rachel Sutherland and her husband Craig and children Daniel, Maya and Patrick; Sarah Williams and her husband Sean and children Libby and Tessa and sister Lillian Soper of Orillia ON; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Ed and daughter Judy Wood, sisters Loma Gushue and Margaret Caines and brothers Clayton and Kenneth Hynes. Cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home on St. Mark’s Avenue on Tuesday, September 10 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 11, at St. John the Evangelist Church on Main Street with Archbishop Stewart Payne officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John the Evangelist Church or to a charity of one’s choice.
