It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lloyd Curlew announce his passing on Sunday, August 7th, 2005 at the Captain William Jackman Memorial Hospital in Labrador City at the age of 42 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his daughter Amanda (Mandy), Labrador City; step-son Justin Luff, St. John's; Companion and special friend Tonia Murphy, Labrador City; mother Bride (Joan); Deer Lake; Brothers and sister: Ross (Joy), Labrador City; Carl (Edna), Corner Brook; Jean (Leslie) Janes, Ft. McMurray and Cyril (Dolores), Deer Lake. Nieces and nephews: Kenneth, Carol, Mark, Jason, Brock, Jeremy, Jushua, Jeanna, Jordan and Austin; great nieces and nephews: Sarah, John, Patrick and Jessica. As well as many aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father Harold, October 1, 2004. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Wednesday from the hours of 7-9 PM and on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 12th at 2:00 PM from the Salvation Army Citadel with Captains Terry & Bonnie Hopkins officiating. Cremation to follow at Lloyd's request. Interment will take place at Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of one's choice.
