DOROTHY MAUDE GILLAM MCKAY’S, NL May 26, 1915 … June 10, 2013 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dorothy Maude Gillam announce her passing on Monday, June 10, 2013 at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Center, Stephenville Crossing, NL at the age of 98 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Neil (Judy) Gillam, Nadine Gillam, Ina (Carl) Newhook, all of McKay’s; daughter-in-law Lucy Gillam; one surviving sister Jean Large of Mass. USA, 18 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Henry and Maude Hulan, husband Thomas Tobias Gillam, son and daughter-in-law Maxwell and Byrnus Gillam, son Alonzo Gillam, and son-in-law Edward Gillam. Visitation will take place at St. George’s Anglican Church , Robinson’s on Wednesday, June 12 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The funeral will take place on Thursday, June 13, 2013 from St. George’s Anglican Church, Robinson’s at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Terry Rose officiating. Interment will follow in the Anglican Cemetery, McKay’s. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. George’s Anglican Church Memorial Fund or the charity of one’s choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing.
