It is with great sadness that the family of the late Melita Spencer announce her passing at the Calder Health Care Centre in Burgeo on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at the age of 75. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 12, at 2:00 from St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church in Burgeo with Rev. Charles Harris officiating and interment in the Community Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from the church. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Fillatre Funeral Homes Ltd., Corner Brook. The family guestbook may be signed by visiting our website www.fillatre.ca
