Shirley Clara Lewis Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Shirley Lewis announce her passing on Friday, June 7th, 2013 at Corner Brook Long Term Care Home at the age of 74 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her husband of 48 years, John, daughters Jennifer and Stephanie, brothers and sisters Dorothy Prince (Ray, deceased), Winston Ellsworth (Barbara), Vernon Ellsworth (Florence), Daisy Ellsworth, Ivy Parkinson (Derek) and Marion Ellsworth (Roy), brothers and sisters-in-law Esther Ellsworth, Robert Lewis (Sandra), Joan Lewis, Catherine Lewis, George Lewis, Charlie Lewis (Valerie), Patricia Ellis (Verdon), Danny Lewis (Anita), Michael Lewis (Wanda) and Cynthia Lewis, as well as a large number of nieces, nephews and many friends. She was predeceased by brothers Melvin Ellsworth (Grace), Clifford Ellsworth and Ivan Ellsworth (Joan), sister Marjorie, parents Andrew and Blanche Ellsworth and father and mother-in-law Norman and Elizabeth Lewis. Granting her wishes, cremation has already taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. Visitation will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 11th at 2:00 p.m. at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, Main Street with Dean Baxter Park officiating. Burial will be held a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation.
