James Austin Peddle Mt. Moriah, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jim Peddle announce his sudden passing on Thursday, June 6th, 2013 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in his 74th year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife, Wilhelmina (Minie) of 53 years; seven children: Donna Ellsworth (Fred), James (Valerie), Joanne White (Brian), Carol Peddle Compagnon (Barry), Wade (Bruce Delisle), Lorelei Young (Archie) and Cory (Barb); 14 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; brother: Douglas Peddle (Charlotte); sisters: Frances Sansome , Maisie Vater and Gloria Lewis (Derek); as well a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: Hubert and Maud Peddle; brother, Harvey; sister, Maxine and mother-in-law: Catherine Park. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Saturday, 7-9:00 p.m. and Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, June 10th, at 11:00 a.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Chapel, St. Marks Avenue, with Reverend Canon Roberta Woodman officiating. The interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
