Lilly May Rose Corner Brook, NL Oct. 14, 1920 - May 21, 2013 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lilly Rose announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 in her 93rd year. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Elsie (Fred) Colbourne, son Chesley (Jocelyn) Rose; ten special grandchildren: Sherry (Colbourne) McCarthy, Sean & Sheldon Colbourne, Dean and Leanne Rose, Joanne (Rose) Fillier, Vickie (Rose) Russell, Lisa, Tracey and Sherry Callahan; 18 precious great-grandchildren; son-in-law Mick Callahan; brother Eldred (Hazel) Crant; sisters-in-law Bethina Taylor and Roberta Strowbridge and many special nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Chesley, son Johnnie, daughter-in-law Margaret, daughter Bessie, parents John and Elsie Crant, sisters Bessie Parks and Mary Piercey. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 25 at 3:00 p.m. from All Saints Anglican Church, Clarence Street, Rev. Tanya White officiating, with interment at Mount Patricia Cemetery. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers, donations will be gratefully accepted to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation.
