MONA VIVIAN DAVIS MEADOWS, NL January 7, 1928 - May 13, 2013 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mona Davis announce her passing on Monday, May 13, 2013 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility at the age of 85 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Juanita Delorey, Wayne (Diane), Linda (Stan) Ruth, George (Mary), Marina (Paul) Hill, Shara Wells, Darrell (Delphene), Michele Davis and Lisa (Spencer) Payne; daughter-in-law: Valda Davis; grandchildren: Velvet, Heather, Jared, Geoffrey, Arlene, Justin, Shane, Crystal, Kayla, Owen, Jason, Ronda, Bobby, Roger, Ian, Carling, Jenna, Meagan and Vanessa; great grandchildren: Michael, Nicolas, Gabriel, Benjamin, Hudson, Finn, Jessica, Kaitlyn, Tristan and Madyn; sisters and brothers: Gwendolyn Parsons, Raymond (Mercedes) Brake, Maxine House, George (Avril) Brake and Frances (Bertram) Hann; sister-in-law Molly Brake; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Owen; son, Keith; son-in-law: Ron Wells; parents: Francis and Maude Brake; Brothers Reginald, Rouse, Clifton, Noble and Roland Brake. Visitation will be held on Tuesday,2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. from Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Meadows, from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 15 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery, Reverend Malcolm Palmer officiating.
