Obituary of Rev. Fr. John Michael Molloy

Rev. John Michael Molloy Corner Brook, NL Passed peacefully away at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook, NL on Saturday, May 4th, 2013, Rev. Fr. John Molloy, formerly of St. Mary’s, NL aged 87 years. Predeceased by parents, John and Rose; brothers: Edward, Alphonsus, Leonard and Joseph; sisters: Angela, Marcella, Catherine, Elizabeth and Anne. Leaving to mourn sister-in-law, Elizabeth Molloy; brother-in-law: Willis (Bill) Atkinson; special niece Betty Molloy Kielly; a large number of nieces and nephews; other extended family members and many friends. Visitation will take place at the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 with the Vigil at 8:00 p.m. The funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, May 8th at 10:30 AM at the Cathedral with Bishop Peter Hundt presiding and Father Joseph Gash as Homilist. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Shepherd’s Fund.
