RODNEY REX BRAKE MCKAY’S, NL MAY 28, 1944 – MAY 2, 2013 Passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at his family home in McKay’s, NL Rodney Rex Brake at the age of 68 years. He will forever be loved and missed by his wife Verna; son Jason (Corissa); daughter Rochelle (Stephen); grandsons: Cody, Rory, Jayden; mother Vivian; brothers: Gerald (Jenny), Terry, Darcy (Tracey); sisters: Glenda (David), Cavell (Bob), Carolyn (Fred) as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father Murdock; brother Stirling and sister Wanda. There will be no visitation. The funeral service will be held from St. George’s Anglican Church, Robinson’s on Monday, May 6, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Gwendolyn Butler officiating. Inurnrment will follow in the Anglican Church Cemetery, McKay’s. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the New Fire Hall Fund or a charity of ones choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing.
