CHARLES ALLEY ST. DAVID’S, NL JANUARY 30, 1937 – FEBRUARY 8, 2013 Passed away on Friday, February 8, 2013 at his family residence in St. David’s, NL Charles Alley at the age of 76 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his children: Diane (Danny) Gillis, Basil, Trudy (Wade) Legge; grandchildren: Sherisse (Darlene), Christian (Janine), Brandon (Vanessa), Mitchell, April Dawn (Justin), Brady; great-grandson Jaxon; special friend Una Hann; brothers: Billy (Betty), George (Phoebe); sisters: Agnes (Carl) Chaffey, Angela Cross; sisters-in-law: Georgina Alley, Mary Alley, Verna Gillis, Debbie (Fred) Legge, Shirley Hulan; brothers-in-law: Rodney (Edith) Hulan, Eldred Hulan, Chesley Hulan, Junior (Shirley) Hulan, John (Kathy) Hulan, Winston (Louise) Hulan, Hilliard (Linda) Hulan as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Courtney and Giulia Alley; wife Marjorie Ann; brothers: Basil, Llewlyn, Steve & Rossburn. Friends may visit St. Michael & All Angels Anglican Church, St. David’s from 7-9 p.m. on Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Terry Rose officiating. Interment will follow in the Anglican Church Cemetery, St. David’s. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to The Heart & Stroke Foundation or The ALS.
