It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gilbert Charles Davis announce his passing on Feb. 2 2013 at the Long Term Care in Happy Valley Goose Bay at the age of 71 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Joyce; children: Charles (Angie),and Jillian (Grant), precious grandchildren; Grace, Cameron, Ilias, and Aela. Brothers: Don, Dennis, Ernest, and Arch (Eileen), Sisters: Joyce, Annette, and Pauline (George). In laws Curtis ans Ethel Pittman, and brother in law Larry (Cathy). As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.He was predeceased by his parents Margaret and Percy Davis, Brother Edwin and sister Ursula. Friends may visit Fillatres Funeral Home Happy Valley Goose Bay on Thursday Feb. 7 2013 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9. Cremation has taken place Service of remembrance will be held on Friday Feb.8 at 2 p.m. from the United Church Happy Valley Goose Bay with interment to follow at the united Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimers Society or the United Church memorial Fund.
