It is with great sadness that the family of the late Winnifred Greene (Russell) announce her passing on March 3 2013 at her home in Happy Valley-Goose Bay at the age of 89 years. She will be sadly missed by her children: Mildred Paul, Clara Noble (Stan), Roy Russell (Delina), Blanche English (John), Elsie Parr (Wayne), son at heart Dorman Russell (Denise), 27 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents John and Catherine, husband Charles Russell, son Edgar Russell, and son-in-law Fred Paul. Friends may visit Fillatres Funeral Home on Monday and Tuesday from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 6 at 2 p.m. from St. Andrews Anglican Church Happy Valley-Goose Bay, with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the family.
