CATHERINE PHILOMENIA YOUNG STEPHENVILLE, NL (FORMALLY OF STEPHENVILLE CROSSING) FEBRUARY 9, 1939 … JANUARY 15, 2013 It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Catherine Young announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at the age of 73 years. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Linda (Bernard), Michael, Guy (Eileen), Henrietta (Darrin), George (Tracy), Georgina (Bob), Isaac (Melissa), Lorie (Gerard), Faron (Nicole); good friend Doug Hoskins; 19 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers & sisters: Mercedees, Olivera, Shirley, Marie, Rosalie, Madonna, Percy, Hayward, Albert, Sibbie, David, Sammy, Martin, Adolph, Isaac; step-brothers and sisters: Raymond Bennett, Augustine Brewer, Mary-Ann Walters, Morris Lucas as well as a large number of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was pre-deceased by her husband George; parents Joseph and Florence Lucas; brother Vincent Lucas. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing on Friday from 2 … 4 & 7 … 9 p.m. The funeral mass will take place on Saturday, January 19, 2013 from Assumption Church, Stephenville Crossing at 10:00 a.m. with Father Gerard Patry Officiating. Inurnment will follow the service in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Stephenville Crossing. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
