Norma Mary Berkshire (nee Hartery) Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Norma Berkshire announce her passing on Monday, January 14th, 2013 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 81 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Keith (Lorna), Catherine (Gerard) Lionais, Raymond (Janice), Evelyn Berkshire (Darryl), Kenny and Albert (Robina); grandchildren: Allison (Jason) Eagles, Jonathan (Melissa) Berkshire, Andrew Lionais, Albert Lionais, Carolyn Lionais (Mark Boudreau), Heather (Jeremy) Messner, Brian Walsh, Patrick Walsh and Hannah Beth Berkshire; great grandchildren: Adrienne and Kira Eagles, Kadence Berkshire, Henry Messner and Archer Boudreau; sisters: Sheila McLennon , Joan Stratton (Cliff), Maureen Martin (Jim), Anne Haycock (Bill); brothers: Phonse (Fran), Alfred (Judy) and George; as well as brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and many friends. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond in 1984, and parents, George and Lillian. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 16th at 10:30 A.M. from The Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mt. Bernard Avenue with Father Ambrose Hynes officiating. The interment will follow at the family plot, Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
