MACEY CURRIE Green Island Brook, NL May 5, 1939 - December 28, 2012 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Currie Macey announce her passing on Friday, December 28, 2012 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 73 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 53 years Roland; children: Roger (Loretta), Mary Alice (Dean) Hughes and Joanne (Boyd) Parrill; grandchildren: Darren, Leon and Andrea (Paul); brothers and sisters: Lawrence (Jean), Eric (Mae), Sadie, Norma (Helen), Gorvin (Sarah), Selby (Lorraine), Winnie, Emily (Gideon), Garland (Priscilla) and Wade; sister-in-law Velma; brothers-in-law: Whyman, Peter and William (Christine); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Selby and Mary Noseworthy, sisters Cassie & Rosie and brother Osbourne. Friends visited St. Andrew’s Anglican Church in Lower Cove Saturday evening, Sunday and Monday from where the funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Marlene Harvey officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery in Green Island Brook. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Corner Brook and Port au Choix.
