Herbert Samuel House Gillams, NL March 12, 1940 … December 28, 2012 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Herbert House announce his passing on Friday, December 28th, 2012 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 72 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is his wife, Barbara (nee Baldwin); children: Sherry (Paul), Colleen (Ferlin), Lois (Colin) and Rodney (Pam); seven grandchildren: Corissa (Jon), Shannon, Julia (Andy), Blaine (Magen), Megan, Scott (Holly) and Brady; four great grandchildren: Jaden, Chloe, Liam and Mya; sisters: Sylvia Brake and Betty (Derek) Brake; brothers: James (Florence) and David (Faye); sisters-in-law: Effie House, Diane Morgan and Mabel Baldwin; brothers-in-law: Stedman and Winston Baldwin; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by parents: Stanley and Susannah; mother and father-in-law: Hayward and Alice Baldwin; sisters: Bertha (Frank) Brake and Inez (Harvey) Brake; brother: Abraham; brothers and sisters-in-law: Chesley Brake, John, Abe and Joan Baldwin. Granting his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 30th at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church, Gillams with Reverend Malcolm Palmer officiating. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to St. James Anglican Church.
