It is with great sadness that the family of Russell Power announce his passing on December 24 2012 at the Labrador Grenfell Health facility in Goose Bay at the age of 65 yearss. He leaves to mourn his wife of 41 years, Audrey; his sons: Neil (Karrie),and Jeff (Kelly); granddaughter, Alyssa, who was the absolute joy in his life; mother Victoria Mary; sisters: Ada (John), Lillian (Ray), and Effie (Fred); brothers: Howard (Caroline), and Bill (Frances). He was predeceased by his father William. Visitation will take place at Fillatres Funeral Home, Goose Bay on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday December 28th at 2:00 PM from the Pentecostal church with Archdeacon Taylor officiating. Cremation to follow at Humber Valley Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy the family are requesting donations be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
