Passed away Monday, December 17th, 2012 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, George Andrew Pittman at the age of 72. He will be loving remembered by his wife of 47 years Violet; 3 daughters: Kim Cleary (Robert), Sherry Penney (Jim), Erin Hollett (Lindsey); grandchildren: Jillian, Emily, Katelyn, Sarah and Andrew; sisters: Grace Riggs (Newman), St. John’s, Rachel Ropson (Winston), Deer Lake, Murial Craig; brothers: Herbert Pittman (Elsie), Englee, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Noah & Delilah Pittman; brothers: Edward, Chesley and Maxwell; sisters: Marie and Blanche. The funeral service will be held Thursday, December 20th at 2:00 p.m. from St. Michaels and All Angels Church, Park Drive Reverend Canon Roberta Woodman officiating, followed by the interment at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to the ALS Society of Newfoundland and Labrador P.O. Box 844, Corner Brook, NL A2H 6H6. The family guest book may be signed by visiting our website www.fillatre.ca
