Passed away peacefully at the Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre on Sunday, November 25, 2012, Ada Stone, at the age of 88 years. Born at West Point, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Hettie (nee McDonald) Stone. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Wesley and Walter. She leaves to mourn her family, brother Cecil (Annie) Stone, Diamond Cove, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, caregivers Betty and Charlie, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday from Fillatre's Funeral Home, 134 Main Street, Port aux Basques. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, November 29th, at 2:00 p.m.from the Wesley United Church with Rev. Tara-Ann Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at St. Augustine's Cemetery, Margaree. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Port aux Basques. The family guestbook may be signed or a memorial donation may be make through our webside www.fillatre.ca.
