It is with great sadness that the family of the late Cecelia Julia McIsaac announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 87 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Joan (William) Antle, Pat (Dionne) McIsaac, Mary Parsons (Mike), Maureen (Richard) Burden, Theresa (Morgan) Hammond, Ronnie (Nancy) McIsaac and Rosemary (Keith) Norton; grandchildren: Jim (Alicia), Suzanne (Ronnie), Jim (Julie), Justin (Michelle), Terri-Lynn (Luke), Jason, Donny (Rayna), Trudy, Nicole, Bradley, Devon, Stephanie (Jake) and Amy (David); 8 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Vera Power; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband James McIsaac, twin brother Richard, granddaughter Mary Anne Antle, parents Patrick and Mary (Penney) Power, sister Sr. Marie Michael and brother Basil Power. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Tuesday and Wednesday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 29 at 10:30 a.m. from All Hallows Parish, Humber Road with Father Ambrose Hynes officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
