Alfreda Mae House Port Saunders, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alfreda House announce her passing on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders at the age of 99 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, daughters: Edith (Bill) Ledrew, Massey Drive, Annie (Leo) Kennedy, White Rock, British Columbia, Helen Ashcraft, Montana, Irene Walker, British Columbia, Linda (Dennis) Hewlan, Portland Creek, Marie (Robin) Smith, Port Saunders; son: Albert (Korina), Port Saunders; 22 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Henry; son: Jack; grandson: Paul; parents: Charles and Anastasia Pike; son-in-law: Trevor; five brothers and one sister. The family will be receiving friends from St. John the Divine Anglican church in Port Saunders on Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m.; from where the funeral service will be held on Friday, November 16th at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Paulette Bugden officiating. Interment to follow at the Interfaith cemetery, Sandy Cove.
