LAURA MAE BUTT ROBINSON’S, NL OCTOBER 31, 1922 … OCTOBER 31, 2012 It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Laura Mae Butt announce her passing on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL on her 90th birthday. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Heather (Darcy) Major, Reidville; son John (Judy) Shears, Stephenville; daughter-in-law Gloria Butt, Kamloops, BC; sister Charlotte (Leopold) Madore, Jeffrey’s; grandchildren: Roger (Serena), Jennifer (Travis), Desmond (Crystal), Laura (Mark), Robert (Bronwyn), Dean, Mila; great-granddaughters: Desirae, Madison, Kenzie, Farrah, Ava, Avery, Malia; special support: Gary Graham, Patricia Kennedy as well as a large circle of other family and friends. She was pre-deceased by her parents John Bissett & Ethel Shears; husband Hilliard; son Joseph and sister Vivian. A special thank you to Dr. Abeid and the staff of the Long Term Care Center in Corner Brook. Visitation will take place at the United Church, Heatherton on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. … 12:00 noon. From where the Funeral Service will take place on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Kathryn Eddy officiating. Interment will follow the service in the United Church Cemetery, Heatherton. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Cancer Society.
