GEORGE’S, NL MAY 22, 1931 … OCTOBER 17, 2012 It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Whilomeana (Bennett) Gale announce her passing on October 17, 2012 at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville, NL at the age of 81 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Gordon Gale; children: Steve (Dianne) Bennett, Mary Bennett, Morris Bennett, Regina Muise (Gerard Lee), Jimmy (Lillian) Bennett, Christine Swyers, Leo Bennett (Aileen Renouf), Dianne Muise, Irene Legge (Clem Crane), Patricia (Rodney) King, Karen Bennett (Daniel Pye), Sharon (Ted) Bennett, Lorraine (Robert) Tobin; 48 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brothers: Edward (Zeta) Lasaga, Vincent (Regina) Lasaga, Martin (Lorretta) Lasaga, Michael (Margaret) Lasaga; sisters: Mary (Nellie) Brake, Leona Brake, Ann Marie Lasaga; siser-in-law Regina Gorman as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews other family and friends. She was pre-deceased by her parents Wilfred & Violet Lasaga; first husband James Bennett; children: Viola, Michael, Olive; grandchildren: Leo Bennett, Peggy Legge; brothers: Stanley, Martin and Steve. Visitation will take place from St. Joseph’s Parish, St. George’s on Friday, Saturday, & Sunday from 2 … 4 & 7 … 9 p.m. from where the Funeral Service will take place on Monday, October 22, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Shallop Cove. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
