Chesley Steadman Brake Meadows, NL July 28, 1923 – October 13, 2012 The family of the late Chesley Brake of Meadows sadly announce his passing on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Western Memorial Hospital at the age of 89 years. He leaves to mourn his wife Sylvia of 69 years and 10 children: Doreen (Dougal) Park, Rex (Barbara), Jacqueline (Glyn) Thomas, Ula (Curtis) Park, Alvin (Ethel), Danny (Deborah), Ramsey (Daisy), Verna (Wade) Adams, Norma (Derick), Louise (Byron Allen), daughter in law Rowena, 25 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and his sister Lena. He also leaves to mourn many nieces, nephews, relatives and close friends. He was predeceased by his daughter, Baby Delphine, son Ronald, parents Thomas and Isabelle Brake, brother Harvey and sister Ethel. Friends may visit Holy Trinity Church in Meadows on Monday at 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Tuesday, October 16, at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. Flowers graciously accepted, or donations may be made to the Holy Trinity Church Memorial Fund. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donations may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.
