It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marion Nichols (nee Barnes) announce her sudden passing on Tuesday, July 5th, 2005 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 75. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: husband; Reginald; sisters: Vida (Chester) Loughlin, and Lorna (John) Cook, Corner Brook; brother: Paul (Barbara) Barnes, Corner Brook; nephews: Brian Hawkins (Sharon), Terry Loughlin, Wayne Cook (Debbie), Gregory Cook (Janet), Sean Cook (Chantal) and Todd Cook (Janet); one niece: Kelli (Shawn) Sparkes; great nieces: Gwendolyn Hawkins and Mikayla Sparkes; great nephew: Ryan Cook; brothers-in-law: Ralph (Julia) Nichols and Joseph Butt; special friend: Mary Morris, Mountainview Estates, as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Predeceased by parents: Arthur and Morella Barnes; sister: Jean Hawkins and husband Eric, brother: Cyril Barnes, mother and father-in-law: Hannah and Norman Nichols, sisters-in-law: Ruby Hussey, Blanche Penney and Norma Butt. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. and Friday, 10 a.m. to 12 noon .The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 8th, at 3:00 p.m.from St. John The Evangelist, Main Street. Arch Bishop Stewart Payne officiating. Interment to follow Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
