MARY MARGARET (SHEPPARD) YOUNG Sandy Point, NL DECEMBER 19, 1916 - SEPTEMBER 22, 2012 It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Mary Margaret Young announce her passing on September 22, 2012 at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Center in Stephenville Crossing, NL at the age of 95 years. She leaves to mourn her children: Alvina Wallace, Marie Sheppard, Gordon Sheppard, Albert Sheppard, Agnes Goulding, Violet (Dave) Creighton, Carl Sheppard, Gary (Donna) Sheppard, Larry Sheppard, Perry (Brenda) Sheppard, Sharron Sheppard; 41 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great- grandchildren; sister Jean Young as well as a large circle of other family and friends. She was pre-deceased by her parents John & Ada Lasaga; 1st husband Albert Sheppard; 2nd husband Albert Young; children: Ada, Annie, Clyde, Edward and Jeannie and her brothers and sisters. Visitation will take place from St. Joseph’s Parish in St. George’s on Monday & Tuesday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. from where the Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Flat Bay. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted.
