FLORENCE ELIZABETH ROBERTSON Corner Brook, NL May 13, 1924 - September 8, 2012 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Florence E. Robertson announce her passing on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility at the age of 88 years. She will be sadly missed by her 5 children, daughter Betty Edison; sons: Jerry (Gloria), Thomas (Glenice), Chris (Paula) and Brian (Trixie); 9 grandchildren: Tom Edison (Cindy), Jason Edison (Maxine), Stephanie (Dwayne Avery), Bradley Robertson, Krista (Travis King), Renee Robertson, Michael Robertson (Michelle), Chad Robertson (Susan) and Adam Robertson; six great-grandchildren: Brittney Edison, Ryan Avery, Josie and Maya Edison, Ella Robertson and Carter King; brothers: Sidney, Ivan (Freda), Neil (Leona) and Gerald (Emma); sisters: Mae Kennedy, Shirley Murrin and Jeannie Carmichael; sisters-in-law: Agnes Fitzpatrick, Thelma Robertson and Dolores Robertson; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas, grandson Stephen Robertson, son-in-law Carl Edison, parents Sidney and Elizabeth Murrin, brothers John and Clyde and sister Mary. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Monday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 11 at 10:30 a.m. from All Hallows Church, Humber Road. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
