7It is with great sadness that the family of the Late William Austin Alley announce his passing on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville, NL at the age of 87 years. He will be forever remembered, loved and missed by his loving wife Elizabeth (nee: Hulan); children: Jocelyn (George) Gillam, Winnifred (Jerome) Brake, Carolyn (Michael) Madore; grandchildren: Melissa Gillam, April (Raymond) Gillam-Young, Elissa (Joel) Hinks, Nicosia Brake, Shane Brake, Velvet Madore, Jordan Madore; a number of great-grandchildren; his sisters: Agnes (Carl) Chaffey, Angela Cross; brother George and other family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Courtney and Giulia Alley; brothers: Llewlyn, Rossburn, Stephen, Bazil, Charles. Visitation on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 from 2-4 & 7 -9 p.m. at St. Michael & All Angels Anglican Church, St. David's from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Canon Ruby Carter officiating. Inurnment following service at the St. David’s Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Cancer Society or Diabetes Association. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing.
