It is with great sadness that the family of the late David Guinchard announce his passing on Friday, May 4th, 2012 at Rufus Guinchard Health Centre at the age of 72 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, sisters: Joyce, Port Saunders, Nora, Cow Head, Blanche (Len), Daniel’s Harbour, Ina (John), Deer Lake, Nancy (Grey), Mississauga, ON,; brother: Bruce, Halifax, NS, ; sisters-in-law: Mirilla, New York, Dorcas, Pasadena, Evelyn, Hawkes Bay, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Rufus and Prudence Guinchard; stepmother, Carrie; brothers: Con, Lawrence and George. The family will be receiving friends from St. John the Divine Anglican Church in Port Saunders on Saturday 7-9:00 p.m. and Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Monday, May 7th at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Paulette Bugden officiating, interment to follow at the Interfaith Cemetery, Sandy Cove.
