JOHN FREDERICK CAMPBELL STEPHENVILLE CROSSING, NL) MAY 30, 1916 – APRIL 18, 2012 It is with great sadness that the family of the Late John Fredrick Campbell announce his passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville, NL on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at the age of 95 years. He leaves to mourn his sons: James (Barb), Tommy; daughters: Marjorie (Wayne), Debbie (Jim), Marilyn (Sibby), Greta (Mike), Cynthia (Ivan), Nicole (Majed), Eva (George); 21 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren as well as a large circle of family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Peter & Elizabeth Campbell; first wife Winnifred and second wife Anne; sons: Nish, Murdock; sisters: Margaret Collins, Josephine Hawkins and brother Peter. Visitation will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing on Wednesday from 7 – 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. The funeral mass will take place on Friday, April 20, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. from Assumption Parish, Stephenville Crossing with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Stephenville Crossing. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Cancer Society.
