JULIA ISABEL MACDONALD FRANCOIS, NL JANUARY 7, 1926 … APRIL 18, 2012 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Julia Isabel MacDonald announce her passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville, NL on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at the age of 86 years. She leaves to mourn her husband Wallace MacDonald Sr.; children: Evelyn (George) Cox, Wallace (Bonnie), Robert (Diane), Gladys Bowles, Elaine (Sidney) Pink, Beulah (Kevin) Strickland, Connie (George) Durnford, Sharon (Jerry) Durnford, Minnie (Jesse) Sibley; 28 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; brother Edward Durnford; sister-in-law Minnie (Thomas) Giles and a large circle of other family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Robert & Isabel Durnford; son Garland; sisters: Mary, Ester, May; brothers: Nathanial & Samuel. Visitation will take place from the family residence in Francois on Saturday. The funeral service will take place from St. Simon & St. Jude Anglican Church in Francois on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Maryrose Colbourne officiating. Interment will follow in the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
