Edith passed away on Friday, April 6, 2012 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility at the age of 86 years. Edith leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 62 years George; her brother-in-law Edward (Barbara) Stone; her sisters-in-law: Blanche Brown, Geraldine (Stone) Percey, Ivy Stone and Ruby Stone; as well as her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Edith was predeceased by her daughter Adele and her parents and her 7 siblings. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Sunday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, April 9 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Mary’s Anglican Church in Curling with Rev. Karen Laldin officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
