Herman Lloyd “Tim” Stratton Corner Brook, NL November 5, 1932 – January 31, 2012 Passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2012, Herman Lloyd “Tim” Stratton, aged 79 years at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Home. He will be sadly missed by his loving family: Paul (Betty), Janet (Darren McWhirter), Corner Brook, Joanne (Reg Rose), Barrington, NS; grandchildren: Julia, Matthew, Daniel, Mark, Jenna, Michael, Hillary, Sarah and Emily; brother: Frank. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 47 years Jessie in 2000; sister: Marie and parents, Edwin and Eva Stratton. Tim will be missed by special friend Marina Allen as well as a large circle of friends and relatives. The funeral service will be held Saturday, February 4th at 2:00 PM from Oakland United Church, Reverend Kim Waite officiating; followed by interment at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue Thursday, 7-9:00 PM and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
