Brennan (formerly Locke) Pasadena, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dorothy Brennan (nee Oxford) announce her passing on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 80 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories : husband Jim Brennan; son: Bob Locke (Terri); daughter: Judy Allen (Keith); grandsons: Robert Locke, Brian Locke (Ashley) and Jonathan Locke (Maria); granddaughters: Stephanie Allen (Ryan) and Jessica Allen (Adam); great granddaughter: Robyn Batt; sister: Eileen Tipple (Ted); Jim’s family, sons: Michael, David (Ann) and Dominic (Lana); daughters: Sharon (Mike) and Doreen; son-in-law: Scottie Aldie; as well as a large circle of brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her first husband Harold Locke; parents: Annie and Harry Oxford; sisters: Julie Nichols and Margaret Fralic; brother: Gordon Oxford and Jim’s daughter: Sheila Aldie. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Thursday evening, 7-9:00 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 31st, at 10:00 A.M. from the Cathedral of St. John The Evangelist, Main Street. Arch Bishop Stewart Payne officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers or donations may be made to St. John the Evangelist Memorial Fund.
