SARAH HAMEL REEVES Happy Valley - Goose Bay, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sarah Hamel Reeves announce her passing on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at the Long Term Care Centre, Happy Valley - Goose Bay at the age of 90 years. She will be sadly missed by her children: William, Robert (Maggie), Timothy, Viola (David), David (Sandra), Mae (Jim), Bernice, Edna, Gerald, Eugene (Dorinne), Harold, Anne and Albert (Rose); 33 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husbands Barton, Samson Hamel and Andrew Toomashie, son-in-law Herbert Hicks and granddaughter Vadney Toomashie. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley - Goose Bay on Thursday and Friday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 3 at 1:00 p.m. from the Pentecostal Church. Interment to follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Women’s Ministries Pentecostal Assemblies of Newfoundland and Labrador.
