It is with great sadness that the family of the late Olive Georgina Meservey announce her peaceful pasing at the Northwood Centre, Halifax, NS on Monday, January 26th, 2004 at the age of 81 years. A loving wife and mother, she will be sadly missed by her children; Sylvia (Fred) Geddes, Beverley (Gerald) Locke, Kathy (Rocky) Hatcher, Ena (David) Paul, Albert (Linda) Messervey; sisters: Etta, Ira June, Shirley; brother Lloyd and sister-in-law Trixie Hines: 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Gordon; parents: Hubert Clifford Messervey and Mary Winnifred Abbot; sisters: Aggie and Muriel; brothers; Clifford adn Art. The funeral service will take place from the All Saints Anglican Church, Stephenville Crossing on Friday, January 30th at 2 pm with Rev. Karen Laldin officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery, Stephenville Crossing. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, West Street, Stephenville Crossing beginning Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
