PIERCEY Edith May Corner Brook, NL July 14th, 1910 - May 21st, 2005 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edith May Piercey announce her passing on Saturday, May 21st, 2005 at the O'Connell Centre in Corner Brook at the age of 94 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Tryphena (Elias) Sibley, Corner Brook; brother Harry Skinner, Burgeo. Grandchildren: Diane, Ada, Mildred, Wayne, Leonard, Clayton, Marina, Ethel, Patricia and Emily. 22 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Andrew Piercey, 1985, son Charlie, daughter-in-law Rita, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Sunday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday, May 23rd at 10:00 AM from St. Michael's and all Angel's Anglican Church, Corner Brook with Rev. Derek Thomas officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Glenwood. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to St. Michael's and all Angel's Memorial Fund.
