Obituary of Neta Powell
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Neta Powell announce her passing on Saturday, October 8th, 2011 at the Trillium Health Care Centre in Ontario, at the age of 62 years. She will be sadly missed by her husband Eric; children: Kay (Ward), Tex (Sharrie), Penny (Michael) and Fern (Gerald); grandchildren: Danny, Trevor, Samantha, Jennifer and Amanda; her sisters and brothers; her special pet Max, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by parents Gordon and Alma Hedderson. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, Happy Valley Goose Bay on Wednesday, October 12th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, October 13th at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
