PINSENT ALVINA MARIE March 24th 1937 … September 24th 2011 Springdale (formerly of Deer Lake) It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alvina Pinsent announce her passing on Saturday, September 24th, 2011 at the Central Health Community Hospital in Springdale at the age of 74. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband David Pinsent, children: Tonya (Darren) Paddock; Springdale, Doug; Fort McMurray, Bruce; Toronto, grandchildren: Megan and Shawn Paddock; Springdale, brothers and sister: Gordon, Larry, Louise Goyer, Max (Irene), Joan Holmes (Tony), Ollie (Lloyd) Cullihall, Linda, Sean, sisters and brothers in law: Linda Pinsent (Jim), Donna (Melvin) Budgell, and Sylvia Pennell, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Stanley and Margaret Pennell, brother Eric, sisters in law Verna and Regina and brother in law John. Friends may visit Fillatres Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, The funeral service will he held on Wednesday September 28th at 10:30 AM from Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church with Monsignor Jim Robertson officiating, cremation to follow at the Humber Valley Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of ones choice.
