Passed away peacefully at the Western Memorial Hospital the Rev. Canon David Pearce. He is survived by his loving wife June of 51 years; three daughters: Judy (Gil) House of Kippens, Jean (Brian) Flanagan of Red Deer, Alb. and Janice Davis of Sylvan Lake, Alb; ten grandchildren; and one sister Jean Purcell of Smith Falls, Ont. He was predeceased by his father and mother Dr. Frank and Laura Pearce of Burin and sisters Eileen and Alberta. He was a proud and Dedicated Anglican Priest for 53 years. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. Visitation at Fillatrs Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue, Corner Brook on Thursday, September 22 from the hours of 2-4 &; 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, September 23 at 2:00 p.m. from All Saint; Anglican Church, Clarence Street with The Right Rev; Bishop Leonard Whitten and The Very Rev Archbishop S.S. Payne officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Killdevil Camp and Conference Centre. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.
