Passed peacefully away on Saturday, January 24, 2004 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Lewis Joseph Pittman at the age of 73. He will be sadly missed by his seven sons: Brian (Shirley) Comer Brook, Gary, St. John's, Roderick (Iris), Calgary, Gerald (Cathy), Walter (Trish), Hubert (Tina Kelly), Douglas (Marie Gallant), all living in Ontario, two daughters: Elizabeth Curtis(William), Benoia Cove, Sandra Campbell (Kevin Ferguson), Ontario; ten grandchiltben: Brad, Carolyn, Patrick (Dana), William, Jennifer, Stephanie, April, Robert, Shannon and Shawn, one special great granddaughter Sara; brothers: Morris (Jean), Lamaline, Jim, Halifax, Best Buddy Willie (family pet), and numerous other relatives and friends, He was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth Marie (nee: Gillingham), June 1999, parents; Frances (Boland) Roderick Pittman; brothers: Patrick, Walter and Gerald. The funeral service will he held Tuesday, January 27 at 2:00 p,nt. from St John the Evangelist Anglican Cathedral, Main Street, the Very Lorne Gosse officiating; followed by the interment at the Mt. Patricia Cemetery Receiving Chapel, Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
