Sarah Elizabeth Cox (nee Joyce) Cox’s Cove, NL It Is with great sadness that the family of the late Sarah Cox announce her passing on Saturday, August 6th, 2011 at her residence at the age of 94 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her sister: Emily Park; her daughters: Margaret (Gerald Mercer), Gladys (George Niksic), Dorothy (Ed Parsons), Linda (Richard Daoust) and Eliza LeBlanc; sons: Bernard Cox (Mitzi), Gordon Cox (Maudie), Willie Cox (Margie), Raymond Cox (Claudette); 19 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren: as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Leslie Cox; daughter: Delores Young and two sons: George and Vaden Cox. Visitation will take place from The Emmanuel Pentecostal Church, Cox’s Cove beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Monday from where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 9th at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Sampson officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Emmanuel Pentecostal Church Fund.
