William “Bill” George Herman Park John’s Beach, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bill Park announce his passing on Saturday, August 6th, 2011 at Western Memorial Hospital at the age of 77 years. Left to mourn are his 7 children; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren: brothers and sisters: John (Lillian) Park, Don (Genova) Park, Mary (Gordon) Pennell, Marjorie (Winston) Greening, Hazel (Josh) Mitchell, Molly (Vincent) Pennell and Kathleen (Mark) Childs; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: George and Edith Park and two sisters: Jessie Hynes and Irene Holloway. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 pm. The funeral service will take place from St. Ambrose Anglican Church, John’s Beach on Tuesday, August 9th at 2:00 p.m., Reverend Nellie Thomas officiating, followed by interment at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to St. Ambrose Anglican Church fund.
