Ada Florence Short (nee Tapp) Pasadena, NL September 23, 1931 – March 28, 2018 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ada Florence Short announce her passing on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 86 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Greg (Maxine) Short, Nova Scotia and Roxanne (Reg) Yarn, Paradise; grandchildren: Shannon (Tasha), Stephanie (John), Ryan (Katie), Kyle and Cole; great-grandchildren: Ben, Alex, Sam and Jackson; sisters: Melida (John) Innis, British Columbia and Myrtle (Austin) Brake, Corner Brook; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband George Short, infant son Gordon Short, parents Douglas and Naomi Tapp, sisters Annie, Jane, Evelyn, Jessie and Catherine, brothers Ambrose, Ernest, Bob, Bill and Ben. Friends may visit St. David of Wales Anglican Church in Pasadena on Saturday and Sunday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Monday, April 2 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Steven Maki officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Church Street.
